Job description

Environmental, Health & Safety Advisor

Location: Dartford - 3 days minimum on site

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE + benefits

Duties include:

1. Provide expert advice and guidance on environmental, health, and safety (EHS) to ensure compliance with regulations.
2. Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to mitigate risks and enhance safety.
3. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards and assess safety protocols.
4. Collaborate with teams to address EHS concerns and develop solutions.
5. Deliver training sessions and workshops to foster a safety culture.
6. Investigate incidents and near-misses to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
7. Keep abreast of relevant EHS regulations and best practices for compliance and improvement.
8. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EHS activities.
9. Participate in EHS meetings, committees, and projects.
10. Perform any other duties as required.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Experience as a Health and Safety Advisor in relevant industries (pharmaceutical, food, etc.).
2. Some knowledge of environmental factors.
3. Degree in a scientific subject.
4. Relevant EHS qualifications.
5. Meticulous attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication skills.
