Job summary

isepglobal is seeking an Environmental Consultant to join our water sector team. The role involves delivering environmental input into designs and site support, analysing data, and producing technical reports to inform decision making.

You will ensure compliance with UK/EU environmental legislation and collaborate with clients and senior colleagues to deliver environmental workstreams across projects in the water sector.

Qualifications

• Degree in an environmental discipline.
• Experience in an environmental consultancy is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and in project teams to provide environmental input into designs and site support activities.

• Ensure environmental compliance in line with client's standards, requirements, and policies.

Our client, a leading independent consulting and engineering services group, is currently seeking an Environmental Consultant to join their team in the water sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work independently and within project teams to provide environmental input into designs and site support activities
• Analyse and interpret data followed by technical report writing
• Ensure environmental compliance in line with client's standards, requirements, and policies
• Interface with clients for environmental coordination, resolving queries and issues
• Preparation of technical material to inform decision making
• Support the senior team members in the delivery of environmental workstreams
• Maintain the ISO 14000 audit documentation and process for the UK and Ireland office

Job Requirements:

• Degree Qualified in any of the environmental disciplines
• Previous experience of working in an environmental role, ideally in a consultancy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to write technical reports
• Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with other technical specialists
• Decision-making ability to gather and synthesize information, identify options, and apply judgment based on logic and reason
• Problem-solving capability to identify complex problems, review and analyse information, and evaluate options to implement solutions
• Knowledge of EU and UK environmental legislation and current best practice guidance
