Salary Range

£45,000 – £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

As a Principal Environmental Consultant, you will lead and influence projects that make a real difference. Main Responsibilities

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental considerations into project planning and design.
  • Oversee the preparation and coordination of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports, ensuring compliance with regulations and client expectations.
  • Provide strategic advice on environmental policies, regulations, and sustainability practices.
  • Build and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Monitor and report on implementation of environmental management plans and EIA conditions.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering technical excellence and collaboration.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Full membership of a relevant professional institute (e.g., IEMA) or willingness to register.
  • Significant professional experience in environmental consulting.
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects across sectors.
