Job summary

GSP is seeking an Environmental Advisor to provide expert guidance on environmental compliance, risk management, and sustainability initiatives across operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Environmental Science or Engineering (Master's preferred) with 5+ years' experience, ISO 14001 expertise, and strong analytical and communication skills. Travel to project sites may be required; NEBOSH Environmental Diploma is desirable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in environmental advisory or management role, preferably in oil & gas or heavy industry.
• In-depth knowledge of environmental legislation and ISO 14001.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing EMS.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain EMS in line with ISO 14001.
• Conduct EIAs and assist with permits and licenses.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across operations and policies.
• Monitor environmental performance and drive improvements.
• Provide environmental training to staff at all levels.
• Investigate incidents, determine root causes and propose corrective actions.
• Liaise with regulators, stakeholders and consultants.
• Support sustainability strategy development and initiatives.
• Prepare and present environmental performance reports to management.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure standards.
