Aureos is seeking an Environmental Advisor in Andover to drive environmental compliance, EMS development, and sustainability projects across operations. You will develop EIAs, manage permits, and supervise performance improvements while liaising with regulators and consultants.

The role requires a 5+ year track record in environmental advisory roles, strong knowledge of ISO 14001, and excellent communication skills. On-site work with travel across sites may be needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years in environmental advisory or management role (oil/gas or heavy industry preferred).
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and environmental legislation.
  • Experience developing and implementing EMS.
  • Strong analytical and risk assessment skills (EIAs).
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office; driving licence and travel readiness.
  • NEBOSH Environmental Diploma desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain EMS in line with ISO 14001.
  • Conduct EIAs and support environmental permits/licensing.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international environmental laws and policies.
  • Monitor performance, identify improvements, and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide environmental training and raise awareness.
  • Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and recommend controls.
  • Liaise with regulators, stakeholders, and external consultants.
  • Support sustainability strategies and initiatives.
  • Prepare and present regular environmental performance reports to management.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure standards.
