Enva Recycling Scotland is seeking an Environmental & Compliance Advisor to support environmental compliance across Enva’s Scottish recycling operations.

Reporting to the Head of Environmental & Compliance, you will provide practical advice, guidance and assurance to site teams, helping ensure operations remain aligned with environmental permits, waste regulation, Duty of Care obligations, internal standards and relevant management systems.

Qualificações

• Hands-on environmental compliance experience in waste/recycling/industrial services.
• Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation and permitting.
• Experience dealing with environmental regulators.
• Experience supporting audits, inspections and corrective actions.

Responsabilidades

• Provide practical advice and assurance on environmental legislation, permits and licences for Scottish operations.
• Engage with SEPA and other authorities, escalating issues to Head of Environmental & Compliance.
• Assist with permit applications, variations and renewals with accurate information.
• Monitor regulatory updates and assess impact on sites and processes.
• Support internal compliance systems, audit plans and assurance activities.
• Participate in audits, inspections and regulatory visits and ensure actions are closed.
