Job summary

Mane Contract Services in Scotland is recruiting an Environmental Advisor to support a major energy infrastructure project based in Alness. The role emphasizes promoting environmental compliance, driving sustainability best practice, and contributing to successful project delivery.

You will work closely with project teams, carry out site inspections, identify environmental risks, and support continuous improvement across the project.

Qualifications

• Previous Environmental Advisor experience required.
• Degree in Environmental Science/Management or related.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation in construction.
• Experience in construction/infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of ecological mitigation and biodiversity protection.

Responsibilities

• Promote environmental and sustainability best practice with the SHES function.
• Carry out site and workplace inspections to ensure compliance.
• Conduct environmental incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Collate and submit environmental and sustainability statistics for reporting.
• Review environmental data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Support development and implementation of environmental campaigns and sustainability plans.
