Job summary

Omexom ASTI in Scotland (Dundee) is seeking an Environmental Advisor to ensure projects meet environmental regulations and promote sustainable practice. You will assess impacts, develop pollution-minimising ideas, and advise on waste management, air quality, and energy use, plus prepare reports and audits.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in Environmental Science or Environmental Studies.
• Experience advising onsite teams and liaising with Project Managers.
• Sound IT skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under pressure, be a team player and show self-motivation.
• Willingness to work additional hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental compliance across ASTI projects, ensuring works meet regulations and client targets.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and environmental monitoring (noise, waste, emissions, water quality).
• Monitor and analyse environmental data and track performance against objectives.
• Prepare environmental reports, permits, and method statements.
• Provide guidance on pollution prevention, waste management, and ecological protection.
• Conduct internal audits to identify improvement opportunities and ensure compliance.
