Environmental Caretaker

Your typical day could start with a variety of cleaning activities around our communal areas such as estate roads, grassed and paved areas, courtyards, garage areas, service roads, footpaths, and playgrounds. You might also handle resident issues efficiently and report any concerns to your area manager.

As an Environmental Caretaker, you’ll provide a high-quality, customer-focused caretaking service. Your focus will be on maintaining our estates, working in partnership with colleagues to manage effective service delivery, and developing and improving Peabody’s caretaking services to residents, always considering residents’ needs.

You’re a people person who likes to get things done, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and excels at delivering excellent customer care. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be on site five days a week.

Your role covers all aspects of environmental caretaking and cleaning services. If you are customer-focused, we want to hear from you.

To be successful in this role, you should:

• Have a full, clean UK driving licence.
• Be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Have experience in a caretaking or cleaning environment.
• Demonstrate practical experience in using powered equipment.

A company van will be provided for your duties.
