Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking an Environmental Advisor to support the Head of Environment in developing, implementing, and maintaining the Siemens Environmental Management System (EMS) within our Project Entity. You will provide expert environmental guidance to Site Managers and Project Delivery teams and serve as a key point of contact for site environmental issues across projects.

You will monitor UK and European legislation, updating processes, promoting sustainability, and ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant discipline with strong understanding of environmental legislation and sustainability protocols.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills; proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Graduate ISEP Membership or willingness to achieve.
• Experience in the construction industry and environmental management systems is desirable.
• A valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Environment in improving and maintaining the Environmental Management System (EMS).
• Provide expert environmental advice to Site Managers and Project Delivery teams.
• Monitor UK and European environmental legislation and update processes accordingly.
• Identify and manage environmental consents and ensure compliance with the Project Environmental Management Plan.
• Conduct environmental audits and inspections to monitor compliance and promote resource efficiency.
• Support incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
