Job summary
Siemens Energy is seeking an Environmental Advisor in Manchester to support the Head of Environment in developing and maintaining the Environmental Management System across projects. You will provide expert environmental guidance to Site Managers and Delivery teams.
Collaborating with stakeholders, you will help ensure compliance with legislation and promote sustainable practices on site, contributing to decarbonisation goals in a dynamic energy projects context.
Qualifications
- A degree in a relevant discipline with knowledge of environmental legislation
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Graduate ISEP Membership or willingness to achieve
- Experience in construction and environmental management systems
- Valid driving licence
Responsibilities
- Support EMS development and implementation across projects
- Monitor UK/European environmental legislation and update processes
- Ensure employees understand statutory duties and procedures
- Identify environmental permits and ensure compliance with plans
- Conduct environmental audits and promote resource efficiency
- Support incident investigations and implement corrective actions
