Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking an Environmental Advisor to help develop and maintain the Environmental Management System across projects in the UK. You will advise Site Managers and Project Delivery teams, ensuring environmental compliance and stakeholder engagement.

You will monitor legislation, support sustainability initiatives, and lead environmental audits and incident investigations, with collaboration across internal and external partners. A valid driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline with understanding of environmental legislation and sustainability protocols.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills; proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Graduate ISEP Membership or above (or willingness to achieve).
• Experience in construction industry and EMS is desirable.
• Valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Environment in developing, implementing, and maintaining the Siemens EMS within the Project Entity.
• Provide expert environmental advice to Site Managers and Project Delivery teams.
• Act as a key point of contact for site environmental issues and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with legislation.
• Promote sustainability initiatives across projects and support improvement of environmental processes.
• Identify and manage environmental consents and ensure adherence to the Project Environmental Management Plan.
• Conduct environmental audits and inspections and support incident investigations and corrective actions.
