Job summary

Altrad is seeking an Environmental Advisor to join our Cumbria project, reporting to the environmental team and working closely with construction/HSE teams and subcontractors to ensure compliance with environmental codes and standards.

You will set up programmes, implement procedures, and drive improvements to exceed customer expectations and uphold our world-class QHSE approach on a prestigious PPP project.

Qualifications

• You are likely to have held a similar role within a construction-related company.
• You possess a formal safety/environmental qualification.
• You have an eye for detail, good planning, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• You will work very closely with construction/HSE teams, subcontractors and partners to ensure adherence to the safest environmental codes and practices.
• You will set up programmes/initiatives, implement procedures and processes, and drive improvements on the project.
• You will ensure that standards exceed customer expectations and maintain a world-class approach to QHSE.
