CIWMJOBS is seeking an Environmental Advisor for a Scotland-based infrastructure framework. You’ll spend time on site with live civils and utilities projects, while enjoying hybrid working options and a clear route to career development.

You’ll assess environmental risks, support teams with practical controls, and help drive ISO 14001 compliance across multiple sites. Relevant qualifications and IEMA progress are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Environmental experience in construction, civils, utilities, water or infrastructure.
• An environmental qualification or related degree.
• Understanding of environmental legislation, management systems and risk assessment.

Responsabilités

• Visit projects to identify environmental risks, advise site teams and help put workable controls in place.
• Carry out inspections and audits, support ISO 14001 compliance, and guide teams on waste management and environmental performance.
• Investigate incidents, agree corrective actions, deliver environmental briefings and work with the client, regulators and supply chain partners.

Environmental Advisor – up to £50,000 + Car Allowance - Infrastructure - Scotland

Want to spend more time on site helping teams solve environmental issues, with the flexibility of a hybrid role?

I'm recruiting an Environmental Advisor for a contractor delivering a long-term infrastructure framework across Scotland. You'll support live civils and utilities projects, from mains replacement and network upgrades to capital projects. The role covers multiple sites and gives you the scope to work directly with project teams on practical environmental decisions. You'll be part of a supportive environmental team, with colleagues to share ideas with and turn to for advice when you need it.
