Job summary

Principal People Recruitment is partnering with a leading infrastructure contractor to recruit an Environmental Advisor supporting Thames Valley projects on a hybrid basis. You will provide practical environmental advice to site and operations teams and help implement environmental strategies, policies and management systems across the framework.

Qualifications

• Relevant Environmental Qualification (ISEP or Equivalent) or Degree.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure or utilities sector.
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, compliance and EMS.
• ISEP Practitioner membership is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental advice to site and operational teams across the framework.
• Support the implementation of environmental strategies, policies and management systems.
• Conduct site inspections, environmental audits and compliance reviews.
• Investigate environmental incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Monitor environmental performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support subcontractors and supply chain partners in meeting environmental requirements.
• Build effective relationships with project teams, clients and external stakeholders.

Principal People are working with a leading infrastructure contractor, recognised for its commitment to employee development and career progression, to recruit an Environmental Advisor supporting projects across the Thames Valley on a hybrid basis.

Working alongside an experienced and supportive environmental team, you will play a key role in ensuring environmental compliance, driving improvements in standards and embedding best practices across projects.
