Your new role

You will be part of the H&S team reporting to the SHE Manager, using your knowledge of environmental compliance to maintain consistency and best practice in a key Leicester site. Main duties include…

1. Develop and implement a site environmental strategy
2. Support managers to continue to drive the key outputs of the Environmental Management System
3. Ensuring environmental compliance with ISO14001
4. Managing relationships with external stakeholders
5. Manage local relationships with the Environment Agency, Colleagues, Customers, Community
6. Develop a positive environmental culture through awareness building, training, and coaching

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience with ISO 14001 verification audits
• Knowledge of key Environmental legislation
• Technical report writing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Experience in the FMCG industry (preferred)
