Job summary

Weetabix is seeking an Environment Management & Application Support specialist in Burton Latimer. You will ensure our key applications are secure, reliable and ready for change while supporting testing, system releases and environment management.

You’ll work with technology teams to improve change control and automate where possible, building resilient systems and accurate documentation. The role offers a collaborative office‑based pattern three days per week.

Qualifications

• Experience managing application environments, releases and configuration within complex technology landscapes.
• Knowledge of testing and release processes, including SIT and UAT.
• Experience supporting business applications, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and ERP systems.
• Ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, manage incidents, and monitor application performance.

• Shaping and managing application environments across key business systems, ensuring they are reliable, secure and ready to support business growth.
• Leading software releases, upgrades and environment changes, working closely with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver a smooth experience with minimal disruption.
• Supporting testing activities, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure solutions are fully validated and fit for purpose.
• Providing expert application support, resolving complex issues and collaborating with external partners when needed.
• Working with colleagues across the business to improve processes, enhance system capabilities and ensure technology meets evolving business needs.
• Driving continuous improvement through automation, modern ways of working and data‑driven insights to improve efficiency, resilience and user experience.
• Maintaining clear documentation, sharing knowledge across teams and helping build capability throughout the broader technology function.
• Ensuring environments, systems and release processes remain compliant, secure and aligned with governance and regulatory standards.

The Ingredients

• Experience managing application environments, system releases, and configuration within complex technology landscapes.
• Understanding of development, testing, and production environments, including environment management and refresh cycles.
• Knowledge of testing and release processes, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), deployment, and release coordination.
• Experience supporting business applications, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and working with external suppliers.
• Ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, manage incidents, and monitor application performance.
• Well‑developed documentation, process management, organisation, and planning skills.
