Weetabix is recruiting an experienced EHS Advisor for our Burton Latimer site in the UK. You will lead the manufacturing EHS strategy, audits, and coaching to drive zero accidents and zero environmental incidents on the factory floor.

You will deliver risk assessments, investigations, and continuous improvement with a hands-on approach, ensuring legal compliance and engaging teams to embed best practices in daily operations.

Qualificações

• Experience in HSE roles within FMCG or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of UK H&S legislation and risk management.
• Experience with risk assessments, investigations and audits.
• Strong communication and coaching to influence others.
• Ability to use data to interpret HSE insights.
• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability reporting.
• Experience with digital safety systems and real-time monitoring.
• Knowledge of behavioural safety or human factors.
• Continuous improvement skills (Lean, problem-solving, visual management).
• Ability to contribute to safe design for engineering projects.

We are looking for an experienced EHS Advisor from a manufacturing background to be a visible force on the factory floor, delivering expert Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) support, coaching, and guidance to bring our cluster manufacturing, health and safety (EHS) strategy to life. Drive high standards, ensure legal compliance, and help us achieve our vision of zero accidents and zero environmental incidents.

The Recipe (About the Role)

• Deliver the manufacturing EHS strategy and standards across the cluster
• Lead the internal audit programme to achieve and maintain Green status
• Coach and support factory teams to take ownership of EHS processes, programmes, risk registers, objectives, and performance
• Provide EHS expertise for all new projects and change management activities
• Maintain the incident reporting system, support investigations, and drive corrective actions to eliminate root causes and prevent recurrence
• Ensure accurate, up-to-date EHS information is available to internal and external stakeholders to support continuous improvement
• Deputise for the Cluster EHS Manager when required

Key Know How:

• Experience in HSE roles within FMCG or manufacturing environments.
• Good working knowledge of UK H&S legislation and risk management points.
• Experience completing risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits.
• Strong communication and coaching skills with the ability to influence others.
• Able to use data and digital tools to interpret and communicate HSE insights.
• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability reporting.
• Experience with digital safety systems, automation, or real-time monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of behavioural safety or human factors.
• Continuous improvement skills (Lean, problem-solving, visual management).
• Ability to contribute to safe design for engineering and capital projects.
