Health & Safety Manager

Chichester | £65,000 - £75,000 + Package (and accommodation if needed)

Leading Main Contractor | Industrial Build Projects £50m - £150m

We're working with a top-tier £Billion+ turnover construction main contractor renowned for delivering major build projects across the South of England. With schemes typically ranging from £50m to £150m, they are consistently at the forefront of innovation, quality, and safety in the built environment.

As they continue to grow, they're now looking to appoint a Health & Safety Advisor to join their team on-site in Trowbridge, supporting the safe delivery of a significant new steel frame, food manufacturing project.

The Role:

You'll work closely with site and project teams to ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental requirements, driving high standards across the board. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce health and safety procedures on-site
• Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and briefings
• Support incident investigations and produce H&S reports
• Promote a positive health and safety culture across the project

Requirements:

• Proven experience working for a main contractor (essential)
• Strong knowledge of construction site practices and regulations
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential)
• IOSH membership (preferred)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
