This is a unique and challenging opportunity to take on multi-site responsibility across an expanding pharmaceutical manufacturing business that is looking to strengthen its approach to consistent Health and Safety management. Having advanced over the past two years through successful projects to increase manufacturing and headcount, Health and Safety remains a key focus.
While this role is multi-site focused, it also requires hands-on responsibility across all Health and Safety aspects, not just oversight.
The manufacturing environment's unique nature necessitates previous experience in radiation and/or radioactivity. This experience should include creating consistent procedures and supporting local site challenges to maintain compliance.
As the business plans to expand its facilities, the HSE Manager will be responsible for developing new documentation and processes for implementation.
The position is based remotely and does not assign to a single facility; however, travel to sites approximately once per month is expected. Flexibility to travel within the UK is essential. A car or car allowance will be provided as part of the benefits package.
Initially, in the first 6 months, three days on-site at a South-East Surrey facility will be required to support immediate challenges.
