Reporting into the Contract Manager, the Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineer will join a talented team of Traffic Signals specialists in the Oxfordshire region. Due to growth and demand from our customers, we are in a position to expand our Traffic team in this region.
What you’ll do:
As a Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineer, you will work closely with an experienced Traffic Engineer to troubleshoot, fix, maintain, and test a range of Traffic Signals / Traffic Lights and electrical equipment in and around Oxfordshire.
Training is a mix of on-the-job learning, providing you with an opportunity to work towards an NVQ in Electrical Installations and sector-based certifications such as ECS and the NHSS Chapter 8.
Who you are:
You have an interest in troubleshooting, fixing, testing, and maintaining electrical equipment, with some exposure to electrical work—whether through outdoor lighting, CCTV, controllers, detection boxes, telecommunications, or radio equipment, or via a college course or diploma.
