Job summary

Nene Park Academy, part of Meridian Trust, invites applications for a Level 1 Teaching Assistant. The role supports the classroom teacher in inclusion and access to learning, helping students engage and become independent.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent required.
• Experience supporting children in a classroom.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of individuals or groups of children to ensure safety and welfare.
• Establish supportive relationships with students to help understand and achieve tasks.
• Undertake support activities such as photocopying, mounting displays, and filing.
• Support students with literacy, numeracy, and learning strategies as directed by the teacher.
