Action for Children is seeking a Residential Support Worker in Weston-Super-Mare. This entry-level role offers a clear path into social care with on-the-job training and professional development opportunities, and a permanent full-time contract (37 hours per week) with a salary of £25,949 per year.

You'll support children and young people, creating a safe, supportive environment, helping with daily routines, personal care and advocacy, while gaining experience and qualifications funded by us.

Qualifications

• Entry level role; no previous experience required.
• Willingness to undertake training and progression.

Responsabilités

• Create a safe, supportive environment for children and young people.
• Deliver personalised care and advocacy to support wellbeing.
• Assist with personal care and daily routines.
• Support communication and access to services, including medication management.
• Ensure safeguarding and accurate recording/reporting.
• Progress through induction and funded qualifications to advance within the organisation.
