Job summary

AXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is seeking an entry-level Junior Insurance Technician in Ipswich. The role supports the multinational servicing program, assists in renewals, premium allocations, and tax summaries, and collaborates with underwriters and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely processing of policy lifecycle tasks.

You will build foundational knowledge of insurance operations, data management, and system workflows while growing with a multinational team

Qualifications

• Strong desire to learn and grow in the insurance industry.
• Interest in AI and other automation tools.
• Excel and general Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support full lifecycle of multinational insurance account renewals and policy processing.
• Assist with allocating premiums and preparing tax summaries for accurate billing.
• Track premium payments and policy issuance details; keep teams and clients informed.
• Maintain high data quality for all records.
• Contribute to projects, including testing new systems and workflows (UAT).
• Input data to clear backlogs and improve efficiency.
• Review account queries and guide next steps.
• Build internal relationships to enable smooth data transfer across teams.
• Develop understanding of systems, processes, and regulatory guidelines.
• Support KPI monitoring by preparing operational reports.
