Job summary

Promises Behavioral Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Technician to join a residential treatment team. The BHT provides supervision, supports a therapeutic milieu, and assists with medication observations and vitals.

Required: high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and at least one year of experience in addiction or mental health fields; strong communication and confidentiality. Benefits include 401(k), paid time off, and medical/dental/vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in addiction or mental health fields preferred.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to document thoroughly and collaborate with clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to clients and maintain a therapeutic milieu.
• Assist with medication observations and vitals documentation.
• Support transportation and client activities.
• Maintain and organize client records using EMR.
• Assist nursing staff and facilitate non-clinical group sessions.
