Job summary

Bressingham Primary School in Norfolk is seeking a hardworking Teaching Assistant to join the team. The role covers TA duties 8.40am-3.20pm, plus a 1-hour lunchtime MSA, Monday to Friday, Term Time plus 1 week.

Ideal candidates will have experience with children, be able to support in class, small groups and 1:1, and assist with phonics, reading, writing and maths. An understanding of SEN and a collaborative approach with staff and parents is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• Able to set clear expectations for behaviour.
• Flexible in supporting children in class, small groups and 1:1 as required.
• Able to support small groups with phonics, reading, writing and maths.
• Understanding of children with additional needs.
• Adaptive, kind approach to helping children do their best.
• Able to follow SEN and care plans.
• Strong English and maths skills; confident across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Good communication and teamwork with children, parents, and staff.
• Liaise with class teacher and SENDCO to ensure suitable learning levels.
• Capable of midday supervisory duties including lunch setup, supervision and playtime facilitation.

Responsibilities
