Heacham Infant and Nursery School is seeking two motivated Teaching Assistants for the Nursery (EYFS) and Infant School (KS1). Start ASAP, 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, temporary until 31/08/2027. Salary on Support Scale C, Point 5, £13.69/hour (approx. £19,877/year).

Responsibilities

• Attend to personal and social needs of pupils and any other special requirements
• Supervise and support pupils ensuring their safety and access to learning
• Establish good relationships with pupils and promote inclusion
• Be proactive, adapting and preparing resources within lessons
• Maintain pupil assessment notes and report to the Class Teacher
• Follow structured plans and assess progress to identify next steps
• Support the teacher in managing pupil behaviour
• Provide clerical and administrative support as needed
• Support for pupils to understand instructions and access the curriculum
• Prepare equipment/resources and assist pupils in using ICT and multisensory resources
• Comply with safeguarding policies and confidentiality
• Attend meetings and participate in training and development
• Accompany staff and pupils on visits and activities
• Undertake other duties as directed by the Headteacher
