St Luke's C.E. Primary School in Cambridge is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support learning across the school. The role is 30.25 hours per week over 38 weeks, Monday–Friday 8:45am–3:15pm, on a fixed-term contract to 31 August 2027.

Salary is £18,066 pro-rata; FTE scales are £26,427–£26,847. The ideal candidate will have GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above and NVQ Level 2 in supporting teaching and learning, with experience of working with children and a commitment to

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 (or 4/C) or above or equivalent qualification.
• NVQ Level 2 in supporting teaching and learning or equivalent.
• Experience of working with children and/or as a Teaching Assistant.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of pupils and support their learning using knowledge and skills.
• Establish productive relationships with pupils, modelling high expectations.
• Support pupils consistently, recognizing individual needs.
• Encourage interaction and cooperation among pupils in activities.
