Job summary

Potters Resorts in Hopton-on-Sea, the UK’s only fully-inclusive resort, is seeking an energetic Entertainer. You’ll host quizzes, run games and engage guests with a high-energy stage presence, delivering memorable experiences across all ages.

As a full-time team member, you’ll work 40 hours per week with weekend and evening shifts, bring charisma, positivity and a can-do attitude to every event, and help create a welcoming resort atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Previous entertainer experience is desirable.
• Talents like vocalist, comedy, circus skills, or magic are highly valued.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a varied programme of entertainment including quizzes, gameshows, and stage hosting.
• Engage guests one-on-one and host group activities.
• Welcome guests and ensure a five-star guest experience.

About the Entertainer Role

As an Entertainer, you’ll play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests. You’ll bring energy, enthusiasm, and fun to every interaction, helping to make each stay truly special.

• Be at the heart of our guests’ experience, creating fun, engaging, and memorable moments throughout their stay.
• Deliver a varied and exciting programme of entertainment that keeps guests engaged, involved, and having a great time.
• Host and support a range of activities, including quizzes, gameshows, competitions, craft sessions, bingo, team events, and more, while consistently delivering a five-star guest experience.
• Welcome new and returning guests to the Resort, helping them feel at home and make the most of their holiday.

Hours of Work

• 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7.
• Includes weekends and evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within an Entertainer role is desirable
• Additional talents (vocalist, comedy, circus skills, magic or other skills) are highly valued – be sure to tell us about them.
• As this is a full-time position, you must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Due to the nature of the role a DBS check will be required.
