Potters Resorts - Hopton-On-Sea is seeking a vigilant Security Officer (SIA) to be the first point of contact for guests and staff, respond to emergencies, and ensure a safe environment on the resort grounds in a 40-hour, full-time role. You will patrol the site, engage with guests, and uphold excellent service standards at all times.

Strong SIA qualifications, a can-do attitude, and the ability to diffuse tense situations are essential.

Formación

• Must hold a current SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Ability to confidently defuse challenging situations.
• Excellent customer service skills with guest engagement.
• Full clean driving licence desirable.
• First Aid at Work certificate desirable; training provided.

Responsabilidades

• Be the first point of contact for guests and team, handling emergencies promptly.
• Ensure safety of guests, team and resort at all times.
• Welcoming guests to the Atlas Theatre and checking passes.
• Provide outstanding customer service to guests.
• Carry out regular patrols to safeguard premises.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the resort.

Job Description

About the role:

• Being the first point of contact for our team and guests, dealing with emergency situations promptly and efficiently, from suspicious activity, first aid situations, and any rare occasions of dealing with confrontation.
• Ensuring that the guests, team and Resort are safe and secure at all times
• Welcoming Guests to the Atlas Theatre, and checking Resort passes
• Providing amazing customer service to all of our guests
• Carrying out regular foot patrols of the resort, ensuring the safety and security of the premises, team and guests
• Having a strong Resort knowledge

Skills & Experience

• For this role, you must have a current SIA Door Supervisor Licence
• Proven experience of working within a similar role
• The ability to confidently deal with and diffuse any challenging situations
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with our guests
• A full clean Driving Licence would be desirable
• First Aid at Work Certificate (desirable but not essential as training will be given)

Hours of Work

• Full-time, based on 40 hours per week
• Shifts patterns will range between the hours of 6pm – 8am
