Job summary

Potters Resorts in the United Kingdom is seeking a proactive Security Officer to ensure the safety of guests and team members. You will be the first point of contact for emergencies, carry out regular patrols of the resort, and maintain the high security standards across the Atlas Theatre and surrounding areas.

The role requires a current SIA Door Supervisor Licence, proven experience, strong customer service, and the ability to handle challenging situations with calm.

Qualifications

• Current SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Ability to confidently deal with and diffuse challenging situations.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Driving Licence desirable.
• First Aid at Work Certificate desirable.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for our team and guests, handling emergencies promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure the safety and security of guests, the team and the Resort at all times.
• Welcome Guests to the Atlas Theatre and check Resort passes.
• Provide outstanding customer service to all guests.
• Carry out regular foot patrols to safeguard the premises, team and guests.
• Maintain strong Resort knowledge and awareness.

Job Description

About the role:

• Being the first point of contact for our team and guests, dealing with emergency situations promptly and efficiently, from suspicious activity, first aid situations, and any rare occasions of dealing with confrontation.
• Ensuring that the guests, team and Resort are safe and secure at all times
• Welcoming Guests to the Atlas Theatre, and checking Resort passes
• Providing amazing customer service to all of our guests
• Carrying out regular foot patrols of the resort, ensuring the safety and security of the premises, team and guests
• Having a strong Resort knowledge

Skills & Experience

• For this role, you must have a current SIA Door Supervisor Licence
• Proven experience of working within a similar role
• The ability to confidently deal with and diffuse any challenging situations
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with our guests
• A full clean Driving Licence would be desirable
• First Aid at Work Certificate (desirable but not essential as training will be given)

Hours of Work

• Full-time, based on 40 hours per week
• Shifts patterns will range between the hours of 6pm - 8am
