Job summary

dunnhumby is seeking a senior architecture lead to own our target-state platform architecture across cloud, data, integration, and security. You will translate business and partner requirements into end-to-end designs and guardrails as we onboard retailers and publishers.

You will shape reusable patterns, balance long-term strategy with delivery realities, and act as the senior technical voice in partner discussions, including with Kevel, driving practical, scalable solutions across the DNA

Qualifications

• Strong enterprise, solution, or platform architecture background across cloud, data, and integration environments.
• AdTech and MarTech fluency, including ad servers, SSPs, DSPs, identity, bidding, event pipelines, tagging, and closed-loop measurement.
• Proven experience integrating third-party platforms and partner ecosystems at scale, including API and data-contract design.
• Experience with clean rooms, privacy-enhancing technologies, and data collaboration across organizational boundaries.
• Customer-facing solutioning, technical pre-sales, or proof-of-concept experience, with strong communication to commercial and leadership audiences.
• Ability to balance long‑term architectural intent with delivery pace and ship practical designs under real constraints.

Responsibilities

• Own our target‑state architecture across platform, data, integration, and security, including the guardrails that keep it coherent as partners are added.
• Turn business, product, and partner requirements into end‑to‑end solution designs covering integration patterns, data flows, deployment models, and non‑functional requirements.
• Lead the technical side of retailer and publisher onboarding from discovery through to working integration.
• Define reusable platform patterns that reduce bespoke client‑specific builds and improve scalability, consistency, and cost‑to‑serve.
• Act as the senior technical voice in partner and client conversations, including with Kevel, shaping credible options and explaining the trade‑offs behind them.
• Feed delivery reality back into product and engineering, identifying recurring needs that should be productized, standardised, or simplified.
