Job summary

Dunelm is seeking an Enterprise Domain Architect for Customer & Digital to shape the technology strategy for key domains and partner with the business to drive pragmatic roadmaps. You will influence architecture decisions, balance long-term vision with delivery priorities, and work across business, product, and engineering teams to align technology with Dunelm’s goals.

The role requires deep enterprise architecture expertise, cloud experience (AWS/GCP), and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

Deep architectural expertise across complex enterprise environments.
Broad experience with SaaS, cloud platforms and modern software engineering.
Retail sector experience and understanding of its dynamics.
Domain knowledge in Customer, Marketing and Digital channels.
Ability to raise and lead key architecture decisions impacting business.
Experience engaging technology vendors and system integrators.
Proven track record in agile, iterative delivery.
Data governance and engineering collaboration experience.

Responsibilities

Set and iteratively refine the architecture vision for the domain.
Define and maintain current and target architecture blueprints.
Map strategic roadmaps with Business, Product and Delivery stakeholders.
Identify and raise key decisions affecting architecture and business.
Collaborate with Business, Product, Delivery & Engineering for informed choices.
Establish architectural forums and ensure consistent standards.
Mentor colleagues and share domain knowledge across the organisation.
Stay ahead of emerging technologies to guide forward-thinking decisions.
Improve architectural processes and tooling for efficiency.
