Job summary

Get Staff is recruiting a Project & Commissioning Security Engineer in the North West, responsible for commissioning, configuration and handover of enterprise security and VMS systems on high-value projects.

You will install, test and hand over CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems, working from project drawings and specs while coordinating with project managers and clients to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Ideally 3+ years' experience in electronic security.
• Experience with CCTV, VMS, access control and/or intruder alarm.
• Experience with enterprise-level security systems and VMS platforms.
• Good understanding of IP networking (TCP/IP, addressing, switches).
• Excellent communication, organisational and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, commission and hand over security systems and VMS.
• Work across CCTV, access control, intruder alarm and integrated systems.
• Carry out system testing, configuration, fault-finding and problem-solving.
• Work from drawings, specifications, schematics and technical documentation.
• Liaise with project managers and customers to ensure on-time delivery.
