V7 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Security Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join our North West team, covering Manchester and surrounding areas. You will install, commission, service, and maintain CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems across a range of sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

The role offers a competitive salary, 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, a company van with fuel card, and ongoing training with accreditation opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Experience installing and commissioning electronic security systems.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV (IP networking), access control, and intruder alarm systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Aufgaben

• Install, commission, and maintain electronic security systems.
• Carry out system commissioning and testing to manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose and repair faults on existing security systems.
• Produce commissioning documentation and site reports.
• Work from technical drawings, specifications, and site plans.
• Ensure all work complies with current industry standards and health & safety regulations.
• Provide on-site technical support to clients and end users.
• Liaise professionally with clients, site managers, and project teams.
• Participate in planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive call-outs when required.
