Job summary

Nova Talent Ltd in Nottingham is supporting an award-winning employer to recruit an ERP Specialist. You will provide day-to-day IFS support, work with stakeholders across departments to deliver change projects, and help users maximise the value of the system.

The role emphasises problem solving and collaboration with IT and external suppliers, translating business requirements into practical ERP solutions and gaining experience with IFS Cloud and related tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in ERP support or a related technical role.
• Experience gained through an ERP implementation project is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities are required.
• Understanding of core business processes such as Finance, Procurement, Sales, Distribution and CRM.

We are supporting An Award-Winning Employer in their search for an ERP Specialist to join the IT team. You will play a key role in supporting the business's IFS environment, working closely with stakeholders across multiple departments to improve processes, deliver change projects, and ensure users get the most from the system.

Location: Nottingham

Working Hours: Full Time 36.25 hours with Hybrid Working (1-2 Days WFH)

The Role

As an ERP Specialist, you'll provide day-to-day support for the IFS platform while contributing to projects focused on business process improvement and system development.

• Providing 2nd line support to IFS users across the business
• Investigating, troubleshooting and resolving system issues

• Working with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into system solutions

• Working collaboratively with the wider IT team, external partners, and business users

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys problem solving, has a passion for technology, and is keen to develop their career within ERP systems and business applications. You will ideally have:

• At least 2 year's experience in an ERP support, systems support, or technical role
• Alternatively, experience gained through an ERP implementation project
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• A customer focused approach
• The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced commercial environment
• An understanding of core business processes such as Finance, Procurement, Sales, Distribution and CRM
• Exposure to ERP systems, particularly IFS Cloud, would be highly advantageous, including:

ERP configuration and administration

Custom objects, fields, pages and events

Security administration and permission sets

IFS Quick Reports

Crystal Reports or IFS Report Designer

PL/SQL

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline would be beneficial, although equivalent commercial experience will also be considered.
• A full UK driving licence is required.
