Job summary

Nova Talent is seeking a Junior IFS Specialist to join the IT team in Nottingham. You will deliver day‑to‑day IFS support, contribute to projects, and help improve business processes. The role offers hybrid working and development within an ERP environment.

The successful candidate will have ERP support experience or ERP implementation exposure, strong problem solving, and solid communication skills. A UK driving licence is required and the team provides a structured career path.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in ERP support, systems support, or a technical role.
• Alternatively, exposure via an ERP implementation project.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Understanding of core business processes: Finance, Procurement, Sales, Distribution & CRM.
• Exposure to IFS Cloud is highly advantageous.
• A degree in Computer Science or related discipline is beneficial; equivalent commercial experience considered.
• A full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Providing 2nd line support to IFS users across the business.
• Investigating, troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
• Monitoring system performance and identifying root causes of defects.
• Liaising with IFS and other third party suppliers as required.
• Translating business requirements into system solutions with stakeholders.
• Assisting with design and documentation of system enhancements and process improvements.
• Configuring and tailoring IFS to meet business needs.
• Testing system changes and enhancements.
• Supporting and coordinating business change and improvement projects.
• Collaborating with wider IT team, external partners, and business users.
