Job summary

National Highways seeks an Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) Lead to oversee a complex portfolio of digital, data and technology initiatives within the Digital Services directorate. This leadership role will shape the masterplan and implement quarterly planning processes, working with Portfolio Leads to align demand with strategic priorities and track milestones.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading complex IT programmes and portfolios.
• Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and executives.
• Accreditation in project or programme management is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPMO) across programmes and projects, guiding demand and ensuring delivery aligns with strategy.
• Ensure governance of programmes and projects, including financial/resource assurance and benefits realisation.
• Collaborate with operational delivery leaders and senior stakeholders to align cross-functional activities and enable enterprise-wide change.
• Drive continuous improvement in portfolio, service, capacity management and governance, adopting best practices.
• Provide leadership for the EPMO team, managing budgets, forecasts and costs.
