Business Systems Platform Lead | London | Hybrid

We’re working with an organisation looking to appoint a Business Systems Platform Lead to support the delivery and improvement of core internal platforms across the business. This is a newly created role within a small technology team, focused on driving the implementation and optimisation of systems used across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and improvement of core business platforms used across functions such as HR, finance and operations.
• Manage and develop a small team responsible for business systems and platform delivery.
• Work closely with architecture and technology leadership to translate strategy into practical implementation.
• Identify opportunities to optimise systems, processes and platform performance across the organisation.
• Coordinate incident response and operational issues with clear communication and structured action plans.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience leading a small technical or systems team.
• Experience working with enterprise or business systems across multiple departments rather than a single domain.
• Experience working in similar roles across at least two organisations, gaining exposure to different environments and challenges.
• Experience working within the UK.
• Proactive approach with a track record of driving improvement and change.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders both upwards and downwards in ambiguous environments.
