Job summary

Aviva plc is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to join the Data Architecture team and lead the development of market data strategies, roadmaps, and data products. The role focuses on delivering value from data across Aviva, engaging with senior leadership and guiding prioritisation to maximise business outcomes.

The successful candidate will work across multiple locations in the UK, shaping data solutions and governance while collaborating with stakeholders and technology teams to realise

Qualifications

• Experience in developing data architecture strategy and execution in large organisations, with FS as an advantage.
• Track-record of defining data roadmaps balancing near-term delivery with longer-term needs.
• Ability to influence through building positive relationships and strong adapted communication.
• Expertise in data lifecycle, technologies, data patterns, insights, analytics, ML, MDM, integration, DWH, NoSQL, data quality, metadata and data compliance.
• Knowledge of industry data strategies and trends; Snowflake experience and AWS knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build Aviva's market data strategies to deliver the global ambition for data.
• Define data products and advise how the business utilizes these efficiently.
• Engage with senior leadership to convey opportunities from data and guide prioritisation of development.
