Aviva in Bristol is seeking a Data Solutions Architect to shape enterprise data foundations powering AI, analytics and smarter decision-making. You’ll influence technology direction, work with senior stakeholders and guide teams to build scalable, AI-ready data platforms.

Join Aviva's architecture community to define standards, roadmaps and secure, trusted data for both structured and unstructured sources, including knowledge graphs and semantic models.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering or AI platform architecture.
• Experience designing cloud-based data platforms using AWS and/or Azure, and Snowflake.
• Experience designing architectures for unstructured data, knowledge graphs, semantic models, ontologies or enterprise search.
• Understanding of AI technologies including LLMs, vector stores, semantic search and RAG.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with stakeholde?r influence and architectural leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture, standards and roadmaps for analytics, AI and future innovation.
• Design secure, scalable data solutions for structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with technology, data and business teams to deliver enterprise-scale data platforms.
