The Role

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect – Security to define and deliver our cyber security strategy, roadmaps, and architecture. Working within the Enterprise Architecture (EA) team and alongside the Cyber Security Team, you’ll ensure our business and technology strategies are delivered secure by design.

This new role will translate business strategy into a coherent security strategy and roadmaps, supported by artefacts such as architectural landscapes, principles, and standards. You’ll provide architectural assurance, mentoring, and guidance to Solution and Technical Architects across the CIO department-setting security guardrails while enabling autonomy.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders including the executive and leadership teams, enterprise and business architects, analysts, product owners, project managers, and engineers to ensure secure, strategic outcomes.

The Team

The EA team delivers technology strategies, roadmaps, landscapes, solution architectures, and technical designs for all key systems. Our mission is to enable the organization with a forward-looking, business-aligned enterprise architecture that drives innovation, coherence, and sustainable value.

We oversee all core systems-spanning Oracle, Microsoft, Salesforce, and MuleSoft, across both cloud and on-premise environments—and collaborate with third parties to complement in-house skills.

Responsibilities
  • Define and evolve security architecture principles, standards, strategy, and governance aligned to business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain conceptual and logical security landscapes across application and technology domains.
  • Create and manage security taxonomies, glossaries, and component definitions.
  • Evaluate and recommend cyber security technologies considering risk, scalability, performance, and cost.
  • Oversee secure implementation of applications and technologies.
  • Perform secure by design impact assessments on change initiatives.
  • Monitor compliance with security standards and principles.
  • Maintain architecture documentation and provide leadership in solution architecture and design.
  • Govern all enterprise architecture assets (standards, models, policies, processes) within a secure, version-controlled repository.
  • Partner with technical and non-technical teams (developers, analysts, product teams, CRM, finance, HR, etc.) to align on secure data and system needs.
  • Advise governance groups and project boards on security matters.
  • Promote best practice, efficiency, and continuous improvement in secure application delivery.
  • Track market trends in security technologies and promote adoption of future platforms.
  • Support and mentor Solution and Technical Architects.
