Job summary

Capgemini Invent is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, and operationalise enterprise-scale AI and ML systems. You will bridge prototypes to production, scale AI responsibly, and implement guardrails to ensure business value and impact.

You’ll work across GenAI, MLOps, and cloud architectures, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes for clients in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a major consulting firm or matrixed organisation delivering AI/ML solutions at scale.
• Experience designing and delivering MLOps strategy and AI/ML architectures end-to-end.
• Deep understanding of Generative AI and Agentic AI concepts (RAG, embeddings, evaluation harnesses).
• Experience designing cloud-native data and AI architectures across Azure, GCP, AWS and/or Databricks.
• Ability to demonstrate business value from scaling AI deployments.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement robust MLOps governance and best practices.
• Design and deliver end-to-end AI/ML systems from data prep to deployment and monitoring.
• Deliver solutions using GenAI/Agentic frameworks and integrate across cloud services.
• Translate requirements into technical blueprints and guide multi-disciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists and stakeholders to drive business value.
