Job summary

Capgemini in Bristol seeks a Lead AI Engineer to design, build and operationalize enterprise-grade AI/ML systems. You will bridge prototypes to live solutions, scaling responsibly and delivering business value.

You will lead cross-functional teams, implement Generative and Agentic AI, and work with cloud platforms (Azure/GCP/AWS). The role emphasizes collaboration with product managers, data scientists, and sponsors.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering AI/ML solutions at scale in a consulting or industry setting.
• Ability to design and implement MLOps strategies and frameworks.
• Experience with Generative AI and Agentic AI concepts and RAG pipelines.
• Proficiency with cloud-native data and AI architectures (Azure/GCP/AWS/Databricks).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end AI/ML systems from data prep to deployment.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects.
• Develop Generative AI solutions and RAG pipelines across clouds.
• Create client-ready demonstrations and technical proposals.
• Develop reusable assets and frameworks to improve delivery.
• Ensure ethical and responsible AI throughout the lifecycle.
