Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an Applied AI Engineer for its UK Enterprise team to guide major UK businesses in deploying Claude, advising on architecture, evaluation, and business value for CIOs and CTOs.

You will collaborate with Enterprise Account Executives and Architects to move customers from first conversations through proof of value, procurement, and deployment, ensuring robust integration with partners across engagements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software/enterprise roles.
• Experience with pre-sales or technical advisory in large enterprises (UK).
• Proven ability to present business value to C-level stakeholders.
• Production experience with LLM-powered applications and evaluation frameworks.
• Knowledge of enterprise security, compliance, and architecture needs.
• Ability to explain complex AI concepts to both technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Take UK enterprise customers from first conversation through technical evaluation, proof of value and procurement to build on Claude.
• Lead the technical side of each opportunity and remain the customer’s technical adviser during deployment.
• Set customers and SI partners up to deliver target architecture and delivery guidance.
• Help customer engineering teams design Claude-based solutions (architecture, prompts, evaluation).
• Build and present the business value case for Claude to C-level and VP stakeholders.
• Guide customers through procurement with security, architecture reviews, data residency and governance considerations; travel to UK sites.
