Job summary

Anthropic, a leading AI safety company, is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to embed with strategic customers and drive transformative AI adoption. You will ship production applications built on Claude, work with Post-Sales, Product and Engineering teams, and travel regularly to client sites to ensure successful deployments.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in technical, customer-facing roles, production LLM experience, and strong Python skills (plus TS/Java).

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in a technical, customer facing role such as Forward Deployed Engineer or similar.
Production experience with LLMs including prompt engineering, agent development, and deployment at scale.
Strong programming skills in Python and experience shipping production applications.
Ability to navigate ambiguity in complex organizations with initiative and ownership.
Experience working across cross-functional teams and communicating with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Embed with customer teams to build production applications using Claude models.
Deliver technical artifacts for production workflows and deployment patterns.
Provide expert deployment support in enterprise environments.
Identify repeatable deployment patterns and share insights with Product/Engineering teams.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of LLM capabilities and AI product stacks.
Travel 25–50% to customer sites to work closely with clients.
Champion Anthropic’s mission and represent the company in field engagements.
