Job summary

The role is based at Walsall Hospital as part of a busy ENT department, with potential offsite work and a 1:5 on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality ENT service with audit against clinical standards.
• Advise primary/secondary care colleagues on ENT problems and oversee referrals assessed by SpRs.
• Deliver a comprehensive outpatient service including suspected head and neck cancers, with MDT discussion prior to cancer centre referral.
• Support teaching and training of junior medical staff, students, and CPD activities.
• Promote audit, research, and academic links; participate in CME and personal development.
• Contribute to ongoing development of ENT services in liaison with community and primary care.
