An esteemed NHS Trust is seeking a Consultant in ENT for a full-time or part-time position, joining a supportive team dedicated to providing quality healthcare. Candidates will manage Head and Neck cancer patients and participate in specialized MDTs. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional development within a thriving medical environment.
We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant in ENT on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful ENT department.
Our client provides comprehensive services for North Northamptonshire, South Leicestershire, and parts of Rutland, including all expected acute services of a hospital of its size. The population served exceeds 330,000 for elective services, 400,000 for non-elective services, and 900,000 for Primary PCI. The hospital features recent construction and ongoing developments, with excellent laboratory and radiological facilities, a new Ambulatory Care Unit, Cardiac Centre, and Foundation Wing housing cardiology, paediatrics, and intensive care.
Kettering is part of the Trent Region with well-developed links to Leicester Medical School, holding Affiliated Teaching Hospital status, and receiving medical students, foundation, core, and specialty trainees.

The successful candidate will join a department where they will undertake various duties, including managing Head and Neck cancer patients through the regional Head and Neck Cancer MDT. The regional Head and Neck Cancer and Thyroid Cancer service is centralized at the main site and includes other sites covering Buckinghamshire, serving a population of just under 1 million. There is a weekly Head and Neck MDT and a Thyroid MDT, utilizing well-established video-link facilities for hospital involvement. Diagnostic work is performed at one site, with major surgery and chemo/radiation therapy at another.
Our client's location in the Midlands offers access to excellent public and private schools, reasonable house prices, and strong rail and motorway links to major cities such as Birmingham and London, with proximity to an international airport.
