Job Title: Enrolment & Compliance Team Leader
Location: Coventry (on-site with some flexibility)
Salary: £28,500 per annum

Our client, a dynamic and values-driven education provider, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Enrolment & Compliance Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day delivery of their enrolment and compliance function. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team that supports the organisation’s apprenticeship and adult learning programmes, ensuring exceptional customer service, robust compliance, and efficient learner onboarding.
Supervise a team of enrolment administrators and compliance officers.
Provide training, coaching, and support to ensure staff meet performance expectations.
Set and monitor team KPIs aligned with enrolment targets and compliance standards.
Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and learner-focused service.
Operational Oversight
Coordinate the smooth and compliant enrolment of learners across all funded programmes.
Maintain oversight of documentation, eligibility checks, and learner data input.
Monitor weekly enrolment positions against commercial and operational targets.
Identify and implement improvements to streamline enrolment processes.
Compliance Management
Ensure all enrolments meet ESFA and internal regulatory standards.
Liaise with awarding organisations and funding bodies to address any compliance issues.
Conduct internal audits and support the wider team during external audits or inspections.
Act as a senior point of contact for employer and learner enquiries relating to enrolment.
Ensure timely, clear, and professional responses from the enrolment team.
Uphold a positive learner and employer experience throughout the onboarding process.
Work closely with sales, curriculum, and quality teams to ensure accurate handovers.
Contribute to team meetings, planning sessions, and organisation-wide improvements.
Provide accurate reporting and MI to support strategic planning.
Experience in a compliance or enrolment role within apprenticeships, adult education, or further education.
Previous experience supervising or mentoring colleagues within an admin or compliance setting.
Working knowledge of ESFA funding rules, ILR data requirements, and audit processes.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Familiarity with CRM or learner management systems and confident in Excel.
A proactive and organised approach to workload management.
