Rivermead View Care Home in East Looe, Cornwall is seeking a Night Healthcare Assistant (Enhanced) to join our night team. You will provide compassionate care, support residents overnight, and assist with medication administration where trained.

Qualifications

• Care Certificate completed or in progress
• Prior experience in care setting
• Experience supporting people with dementia or complex needs desired
• Calm, empathetic, patient approach
• Willingness to undertake medication administration training

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and emotional reassurance during night shifts
• Carry out welfare checks and night observations
• Respond promptly to call bells and alarms
• Support with medication administration where trained and competent
• Mentor colleagues and help new starters
• Maintain accurate digital care records
• Support Night Coordinator to run the shift smoothly
• Promote safe, dignified, and person-centred care
